Diab Shoots New Pepsi Commercial
Superstar Amr Diab is currently busy with the latest advertising campaign for Pepsi Co.
After choosing a new song for the campaign, the pop king started shooting the Pepsi commercial which will be broadcast on local and satellite channels very soon.
“For the upcoming Pepsi commercial, Amr Diab chose a new song I wrote titled ‘Tameni’. The song’s music has a Libyan beat. It’s composed by El-Badri Kelbash and arranged by Hasan El-Shafie,” lyricist Khaled Tag El Din told FilFan.com.
“The commercial is currently being shot in the Media Production City. Shooting is expected to last two more days,” Tag El Din added.
He also said the song will be released on Diab’s upcoming album. Alongside ‘Tameni’ Diab choose three other songs written by Tag El Din to be included on his new LP.
The new record is scheduled to be in stores by the end of November. The album will be the first one by Rotana since the production company renewed its contract with Diab.
Nancy Ajram Married
After denying several rumors about her marriage, Nancy Ajram surprised fans by tying the knot this month.
The Lebanese singer married dentist Dr. Fadi El-Hashem on the island of Cyprus on the Sept. 1, Rosel Yousef magazine reports.
The couple had a civil ceremony instead of a religious one to ensure that in the event of a divorce, the singer won’t go through a lot of trouble during the separation as singer Nawal El-Zoghbi did.
A few days after Ajram’s marriage, the singer’s media office sent a statement to Rosel Yousef that read: “In celebration of the occasion a dinner party was held for the couple and their families. After that the newlyweds flew to one of the islands of Europe for their honeymoon.”
Zaen wraps up “Ayez Menny Eh?” video
Singer Samo Zaen has wrapped up the music video for his new single “Ayez Menny Eh?” which will be included in his upcoming album “Lik Lewahdak” which will be released during the Eid El-Fitr vacation.
“Samo is getting ready to release his new album through Alam Al-Fan productions who have already started advertising all over Egypt,” Zaen’s rep Emad Salem told FilFan.com exclusively.
The album will include nine new songs, “Ehsas Beyshedenny”, “Ayez Menny Eh?”, “Talea Le Meen?”, “Sobhan Man Sabarni”, “Khatem”, “Getlak El-Beit”, “Ashan Ardeek” and the header “Lik Lewahdak”.
Salem also confirmed the wrapping up of the video and said that this is the first time Zaen shoots a video on-location in Egypt.
Zaen’s last album “Aref Eh?” came out in 2007.
Fahmi preps for “Aswar El-Amar”
Singer-turned-actor Ahmed Fahmi is getting ready to shoot his role for the new upcoming movie “Aswar El-Amar” alongside Mona Zaki.
“Director Tarek El-Arian has decided to start shooting the film right after Eid El-Fitr so we can be able to release it as soon as possible,” Fahmi told FilFan.com.
The WAMA frontman will be playing an actor in the romantic comedy which also has some action sequences, the formula for an instant Egyptian box-office success.
Scribbler Tamer Habib wrote the script for the movie directed by El-Arian. The movie has been rescheduled a number of times before.
Meanwhile, Fahmi is currently filming his role in the movie “Cash” with Ghada Abdel-Razek, Tarek Lotfi, Ahmed Saied Abdel-Ghani and Sandy.
