Ramadan

Usually at this time of the year we’re all still basking by the beach on the North Coast. However, Ramadan is upon us, so for most people it’s fasting, feasting & family – not to mention slowed down brains and activity during the day jusxtaposed with long nights of TV, sohour, and out-till-all-hours in cafe’s and tents.

So, onto the fun part – Ramadan is a time for spending all night out eating and often being entertained by ‘classical’ Arab music, or Egyptian Pop. Whatever it is, no matter how dire (or how fantastic), we’d like to hear about it. So here’s your chance to spread the knowledge.

First ticket for smoking whilst driving

Our Sales Manager (Croc, FilGoal etc.) is the first known (by us) victim of the new driving laws. She was stopped for smoking whilst driving – yes, it exists (along with drinking, eating and using the mobile whilst driving), and was fined 50 LE on the spot – luckily her license was not taken.

So, that’s our top breaking story – lol – if you have any driving offences related incidents, especially since the new laws went into affect, let us know.
