Live Night III

Live Magazine presents this bimonthly celebration of the best of what the Cairene underground scene has to offer. Some of the acts will include:

– A poetry reading by Hani Sami. Sami will be reading poetry from his recently released book “Akras Al Mosaken,” followed by a Q & A session.

– Stand-up comedy by George Azmy (pictured above). Azmy will perform his new material, and said he plans to make bimonthly appearances at Live! Night.

– Special Ramadan music. An Egyptian folklore tribute will feature the best of the country’s heritage has to offer: Sayed Darwish, Sayed Mekawey, El Sheikh Emam and others, performed by top local musicians

Event is Wednesday night at 10 p.m. in the Wisdom Hall at the Sawy Centre. Cost is LE 25.
